I couldn’t decide which pair to list, so I just listed all of them.

But when you have a tail that long and majestic, wouldn’t YOU want to make sure it doesn’t end up under a rocking chair, pinched by a door, or, good heavens, even PET.
The only way this would have been more accurate would have been if this majestic beast had been sitting atop a horde of cabbages.
I have a friend who’s OC is one of those, they are indeed cute.
One of the characters I’ve created is a combination snow leopard / gyrfalcon.
Been a number of years since I trotted him out, though. Folks thought him too … aggressive for the scenarios they preferred.
Oh goodness, this would be so cute frolicking in the snow.

The Freedom Griff would actually be Bison / Bald Eagle.
Course, the two species do share a trait … we DID almost drive both to extinction…
Do griffins nurse their young? if so, do they lactate through nipples like mammals or do they ooze milk like monotremes?
I bet a platypus griffin would ooze milk and that would look wild
This raises the question if a snow leopard sphinx would put their tail in their mouth too.
Well if we’re doing griffons, what about Duckbilled Platypus/Mallard Duck
